Does anyone have the specifications for the MAP sensor?
Recently changed MAP sensors to correct CEL successfully. I initially purchased from ebay but then got used OEM ones with low miles. Bike warms up faster with OEM and makes more gurgles / backfire noises. I decided to compare voltage output between the two pairs.
OEM on but not running ~ 4.05 volts
OEM on with 15 in/hg vacuum ~ 1.90 volts
Ebay / Chinese on but not running ~ 3.85 volts
Ebay / Chinese on with 15 in/hg vacuum ~1.6 volts
So, OEM showing higher volts. Since MAP sensor is critical to fueling AND I just generally enjoy learning it would be nice to know which to use.
2012 1199s Tricolore with full exhaust and racing evo tune. O2 sensors still connected.
