My marchesini forged magnesium wheels were $4500. Might as well get it direct from marchesini then. Not sure if there's a difference though.Yesterday... Ducati Ancona... in Italy says 'Kit Marchesini Magnesium for Panigale V4 SPECIALE : 8000 euros 8k!!!!!!!!!!! If you want the oem wheels in alluminium....
If you want only the magnesium rims.... fitted on the bike... PLUS 4400 euro........
Business is business...

I ordered mine with the mag wheel option it was a AUD5,000k option (US$ 4,000).
If I am going this way, may as well go all the way!
For the 4k I'm going to go with the new BST rims.... I already got my name on the list for them. Hoping they are even lighter than the Magnesium rims.
The last BST rims were around less than 0.2lbs lighter than the mag rims if I remember correctly. Difference was negligeable. But I was/am always worried the carbon would crack if I go over a pothole. So I always went with mag wheels. But would still love some BST's one day.For the 4k I'm going to go with the new BST rims.... I already got my name on the list for them. Hoping they are even lighter than the Magnesium rims.

I've heard that too. But not sure how reliable. Mine has been running for 4 years already.ive heard that mag rims have a shelf life, deteriorate over time and that race teams get rid of them after 1 year. who knows the truth i dont
I have been using Blackstone Tek wheels since 2003 on my street, now track only, RC51. No issues.
