Had to happen! Just when going to replace those screws when one of them stuck and the hex slot rounded.
Had to go to a track day with the mirrors blocked with tape....

Screw still stuck. Cut a slot with a dremell but cannot torque it out with a flat screwdriver...

Access to the screw with a driller is a nightmare.

Any suggestion other than going for a strong beer?

Anyone knows the spec of the goldish paint on the mirror bracket. Screwdriver made some scratch marks.

It’s a long shot but try a trox fastener key instead. I have had a fair success using them instead.

Also try 2 Allen keys at the same time. Ie if it’s a 3mm stick two 1.5mm keys in. Put them 180 degs out from each other and turn both at the same time with equal pressure. The load is over two areas instead of one. It may just find an edge to catch on.

Just re read you post. Have you got lock wire pliers? If so grab the edge of screw with the hole on the pliers that you normally fold the pig tail over with, squeeze and turn.

Had this happen to me drill the center with a big enough bit will pop off the head remove mirror use pliers to twist out remaining. It's the head that's stripped the inside is fine the screw will come out without a head

Did you use loctite? Try heating it up... then use a flat screwdriver.
