Unfortunately, my beautiful 2017 Anniversario 1299s with less than 2050 miles on the ODO has suffered some major internal engine damage after apparently, a screw from the oil pump vibrated loose and made it's way through the system, making the bike non-cost effective to repair.

If anyone here is interest in salvaging the parts, like the magnesium wheels, sliders, front / rear LED lights, fairings, etc (just to name a few). please let me know if you are interested in any components of this bike and I will be happy to send any pics or videos you may want to inspect or require more details. If you are local to NYC and would like to check anything out in person, we can make the arrangements.

Thanks, all.

I'll take as many pics as you like, but this is what the bike looks like now.

Asking 1k for the Fairings, which will include a red clear clutch cover, retention plate, pressure plate and smoked double bubble zero gravity windscreen.

Please let me know what you think

Sorry, having trouble uploading files from my phone but I'll try again from my work computer tomorrow to get some pics up

Just the front and rear tire huggers at carbon fiber.

I can send pics if you text me at 347-239-1751. This forum site make it difficult to post pics due to resizing requirements, apparently.

I do still have the motor. I couldn't answer your question with 100% accuracy because this bike was running completely fine until I took it to the service center for the first time for an oil change.

When they diagnosed the oil pump issues, I paid to have a new pump installed. They told me that the oil still isn't cycling properly, so there must be an issue with the engine internally and would cost thousands of dollars to take apart to identify the issue.

I lost confidence in this shop, so asked them to put the bike back together so I can pick it up. Picked it up, rode it for about a half mile but the oil light on the dash stayed on, until I lost power at the throttle, bike stuttered then shut off. I had the bike towed back to my APT where it starts up just fine even now, but I won't chance riding it again unless the engine was fixed properly but I won't pay what that shop was asking for.

A major part of me believes they sabotaged this bike actually, but I don't have any proof of that. If you happen to be a mechanic or if you're interested in salvaging it since you're asking about the motor specifically, let me know and I'll see you the whole bike if you want to restore it.
if you're still only interested in the motor, all I can say is it starts fine and sound normal with no knocking or over heating.

How much is the complete bike??

Since the KBB value is at 19k, but the estimated cost for repair is around 10K, I'm willing to accept 9k for the entire bike. If you would like the aftermarket mods I have and the rear tire stand, I humbly ask for 9.5k and the tile is yours

If anyone wants pics or vids, please text or PM me and I'll send them to you via txt. This site makes posting pics a bit of a Hassel for me.

That story makes me sick. As a fellow Anniversario owner, I feel for you. Sorry man. If you do decide to part it out, I would be interested in the engine as well, pending price.

Thanks man. Yeah, truly disappointed things turned out this way. Been drooling over the anniversario since it's reveal 5 years ago!

Found a garage queen last year and couldn't resist, so traded my amazing, reliable but somewhat "boring" HP4 Comp for this otherwise amazing machine, but it didn't last and now I'm parting with my dream bike when initially I planned on keeping it until 2026, and trading for the 100 year anniversario when available. I'll get you an asking price for the engine very soon and we can take it from there.

“Boring” HP4?? Uh what?

I’d like to see your sliders— can you text photos to 281-seven four eight-6400? Do you have rear hub sliders on it?

Good question, because you can get a new engine for about US$2,500.
I blew-up my bike in 2017 and picked up an engine from a bike with about 2,000 miles on it.
