there is not a zard specific map on the upmap. We choose the arrow map without db killers as that system has the closest configuration.

Results were again pretty impressive for a little over $300

kevin zard slip on stock ecu vs upmap.jpeg

its always a bit difficult to show all the gears on one screen and make it clear but i think this really shows the improvements at full throttle in each gear.

biggest peak gain was in 3rd gear where it picked up 6 hp! (195.01 vs 201.1)

Correct me if I'm wrong, I done the calculations, and with a 12% of mechanical hp loss your crank hp is 227.
That is a similar number that akrapovic claims with their titanium full exhaust system.

Not enough is known about Ducati's testing methodology to reliably make a comparison to their claimed crank HP to nut's dyno run.

Also bear in mind the Akrapovic maps are still power limited in the lower gears.

Kevin, Ducati burnt ya...

Yer bike only has 4 gears : )

Great numbers! Wondering what the temp, pressure, and humidity was?

your not wrong. Your point perfectly illustrates why one number by itself without a reference and power curves is pretty meaningless.

there is always some variation from dyno to dyno, sometimes big variation and while 12% is the accepted number im sure its not exact and varies from bike to bike. Your also only comparing peak to peak.

these runs were done all within an hour back to back

I can check today , ill be back at the shop

it was about 75 degrees, 60% humidity and we are right at sea level. My dyno is literally less then a mile from the Gulf of Mexico and in Florida the biggest elevation changes are bridges

Actual elevation of sea level is good starting point

That way altitude can be below sea level when pressure goes up and temp is low

Lol. 30”??? Only way those conditions coulda been any better would be 40 or 30% humidity

Corrected elevation was well below sea level

Still good numbers : )

28.82” is avg pressure just like 68° is avg temp

Don’t know avg humidity or avg dew point or avg vapor pressure or any of the other variables

But at any sea level track with low water grains (in air) and pressure above 30 my .... was flying : )

Don14 is gonna have to recalculate his dew point, vapor pressure over the humidity and the airflow molecules lol

cool, but I was responding to you saying it corrected way below sea level which it wasnt. Not a big deal

correction factor was exactly 1.00 lol so zero correction
