Do you plan to do any track days?

You might want to keep em, that way you can run a different tire without the ordeal of dismounting tires. just take the wheels off, just a thought.

The other thing to consider, if/when you ever sell your bike, it'd be to your advantage to sell the bsts separate and put the bike back to stock. Having gone down this road before, it's just my opinion.

Holding Onto Rims For Now

Just posted this on the member seeking to buy these type of wheels. Figured id give the site a chance too, though im not looking to start any stupid frigging bidding wars! Lol

This Saturday I will be putting on a set of BST carbon wheels.. I have already received a few Pm's from folks who were following my posts of this and wish to get their hands on my stock wheels.
Im not some ......... looking to get people into a bidding war at all, but I do know exactly what they cost if you were to buy them new. Holy .... why would anyone pay over 4k for stock?

Anyway, my dealer did ask me for them first but don't think he will be looking to pay the going market rate which I've also looked into as well. Officials in Ducati dealerships and after market wheel companies say anywhere between $1600-1900 for a perfect set. I will let you know if my dealer takes them but feel free to shoot me a pm with an offer. You may want to check shipping costs from zip code 22310 , id be interested in hearing it as well via any method.

Thanks all. Will be posting pics of the carbon BSTs soon!
:D

My Forum Friends-
I have decided to hang onto the stock Marchesini wheels for now. I was super amazed at how light these stock wheels truly are when we removed them this past Sat during service and swap to BST. It is merely a few pounds difference TOTAL between the two! I am very sorry to disappoint any of you who were interested in buying these wheels, and appreciate your PM's and offers. I will hold onto them all should I change my mind. I am just glad I didnt promise anyone the sale of these or backed out of any deal with you guys-since I hate hypocrites that do that!

If I am going to track the bike I want a different set of race tires already on a set of great wheels, and if I ever intend on selling this tricked out bike I would surely sell the BST's to make some money back. If you didnt see my thread with pics check out "First Service on Tri-Colore" Thanks again everyone, you are all classy folks. Stay safe and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!:D
