ooops.... Brad...You might wanna think about your posts in future???:)

I edited title to "unspoiler it"

Dani won or was he handed the victory by MM? i say MM gave up after he got second place secure. He made quick work of Rossi and then dispersed of JLO. Has everything to loose those 5 points mean nothing. So he coasted to a second place finish giving Dani the win.

brad you going to watch MM win the title next week i see you are from down under

Agreed in part. I think he tried to catch Dani, but it wasn't as easy as he thought so he figured why risk pushing it and potentially crashing out when he was going to finish ahead of JLo anyway. I think he made a quick decision about the points and I think it showed some maturity on his part. I would have liked to see him chase down and spank Dani though. :)

capt would that have destroyed Dani for good or what? his confidence is already shattered. he will never win a title its just not in him. the quick rossi battle then JLO gave dani a 2 second lead. it was cut to a second and a half. then MM made the decision and it went to i think 3 seconds.

The battle to see would have been MM vs Stoner at Philip Island. 6 in a row for stoner there. would be interesting but he said no wild card. plus what bike would he ride

i tell you who i really really like is crutchlow. the guy is so stand up its crazy. you have JLO and Dani saying MM is too aggressive. to aggressive come on your racing motorcycles at 200mph you have to be aggressive. Yes MM is aggressive they complained about his pass on rossi at laguna they complained how he bump JLO.

Crutchlow was the only guy to defend MM openly.

Now is MM aggressive you bet he is i think he knows he is way better than anyone riding with the best bike out there right now. However i dont think he is reckless. I always thought SIC had a reckless riding style compared to MM who is very aggressive but seems in more control.
(i am not badmouthing SIC just comparing the style).

Agreed. I think much of the complaining on JLO and Pedrosa's part is due to the pent up frustration of seeing a rookie come in and dominate. JLO had no reservations going at Mark which to me implied he was simply milking the situation to gain any advantage possible.

MM is an aggressive rider but the risks he takes on the track are generally to his own detriment should they not pan out.

Doh.....

But where did BMW finish Mark???;)

ummm ummmm i dont think i saw one but i think they are doing pretty well in wsbk and a whole lot better than the 1199. let me answer the next comment now so i dont have to re log in :D

next commet -look at super stock that is much more true to the bikes we have and the 1199 is doing ok there

my answer - i was never comparing the 2 just what happened in the moto gp race. stw brought the bmw up to bait me which i took the bait.

my answer 2 - i am sure that when i get the bmw and i ride them back to back my times wont be much different as i am not that good of a rider to extract what either of these machines have to offer. I JUST WANT THEM BOTH.

real question though. does MM call Stoner for advice on Philip island or does he jus woop everyone on his own.

Mark.. I am just giving you a hard time..but in fairness you did link MotoGp to the 1199 in a way... I have said it before.. HP4 is a killer bike...1199 has issues.. we all have choices... Nuff said:D

Oh almost forgot i am starting to soften on my 46 stance. kind of feel bad for the guy and i always knew he was quite likable from a fan stand point. I need some drones to start talking.

i used rossi in my motogp game this weekend and crashed him a hundered times. moto gp 2013 is so damn hard

Out of the top three Spaniards, I honestly believe Jorge is the slowest, due to the limits of the Yamaha because of the direction the bike development has taken. They are really good at speed in the corners, but they have just sacrificed too much in braking and acceleration to keep up with the Hondas, this is why if he is going to win, he has to get out front, and get a big lead otherwise he is screwed. That's no way to race if you're dependent on big starting leads and can't actually fight for your place.

I also believe that, despite his lack of character in front of the camera, Dani is a very emotional guy. I think he was just as fast as Stoner (see the last 6 races of last season) but he felt overshadowed by him and Stoner just dominated the scene and fought with Jorge until he injured himself. Then when Marc shows up, a big attitude, who likes to smile, laugh and even dance on camera, not to mention he doesn't care who you are on the track, he's going to race you, Dani probably felt a bit overshadowed again. It's almost like he felt since Stoner was gone, it was his "turn" to be the best, but when that wasn't handed to him thanks to Marc, he didn't know what to do and kind of shut down.

Like the announcers said, the only way for Dani to win is to get angry and not feel defeated before he shows up to the starting grid. I think he showed up at Aargon and said "I need to do something", and he did, but when he got knocked out that just pushed him all the harder to "do something" in Malaysia.

So the question is, can he keep that fight alive, or is he gonna get emotional and get shut down again? There is no question in my mind a Honda will win at Philip Island, it's just will it be Dani or Marc?

As for Rossi, he's clearly fourth fastest, but I can't help but wonder if he is trying to steer back away from the direction Jorge has taken the bike, to try and deal with the Hondas next year. I know Mark won't like this ;) but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out swinging in a big way next year after focusing on making the bike more competitive with the Hondas while Jorge is so busy trying to keep his precious corner speed.

And the Ducatis???! Please please pleeaassee make some big changes this winter and come out swinging next year!!! How great would it be to have 6 competitive bikes up front?! :D
