Hey guys
what do you use to polish your ducati?
whats your process a-z
I have been using Zano for a long time and to be frank i am tired of the process and want to try something new.

thanks

chris

Man ready for the list lol.

To clean and polish the Akra Exhaust i use WD40 and a rag.. I'ts amazing

The paint I use I clean the bike with cold water and Griots Brilliant Finish Car Wash(smells like bubblegum) with their microfiber wash mitt then I use Griot's Garage Paint cleaning clay, then their one step sealant then followed by their Best Of Show Wax.. the sealant and wax I use their 6'' polisher.. comes out deep and amazing

In between I use Original Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner and Polish

here is the whole set from them on the cheap..

water never touches my bike. since the orginal honda spray no longer exhists i use original bike spirits spray cleaner and polish. (aka honda bright the old good formula) after that i use sc1 aka clear coat in a can the ultimate shine.

Washing:
Snow foam
Swill down
Meguiars Ultra shampoo
Finish by drying it with a leaf blower

Polishing:
Meguiars Polish
Meguiars Wax

Just for the record I rarely do either of the above processes!

No that's the new stuff Honda claims it's the same except for one chemical. It's no where near the same. The old Honda bright is now the formula in original bike spirits cleaner and polish. I believe it's made by amrep. They developed it and others bought it such as Honda Harley pig snot or something like that. Just Google original bike spirits. It actually says the original stuff. Etc.

For those of you that claim it's the same it's visually noticible. Not the same formula. Doesn't shine as nice the new vs the old. Ask gunny maybe he will chime in. When 2 bikes are next to each other you can tell very easily

Same.

For day to day cleaning, nothing beats Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish.

+1 I've been a fan of the original Honda Polish (before the ban) for years but even there is the newer Honda Polish and even American Spirits cleaner, it doesn't pick up the road grime and bug guts as well as Plexus does.

I have both cleaners and find myself using the Plexus more.

Nothing but microfibre touches the bike, wash mit, polish cloth, towel etc.

I do wash mine with water, but then I use a drop of Meguire's Gold wash in there. It's the only cleaner that doesn't leave a white residue anywhere. I never throw the water over, only what's in the cloth/mit.

Gentle blow down with an air compressor and towel dry.

Meguires tech wax 2.0, sometimes I use the quick detailer and clay bar first. Comes out like glass everytime, better than a showroom finish if you run a finger over it to compare.

For black plastics and covers etc. WD-40 sillicone care spray, brings them up like new works on carbon fibre too.

I've started using the new WD-40 products and have found them amazing, And their chain care products are also just as good

Need more details here boss. Just plain WD40 and elbow grease? Mine is filthy and spotty, Not dark blue, as it should be.

Thoughts?
