if you use search there is a whole thread on it. i forgot what its called and good luck with the search feature lol

I ordered 2 sets for the upcoming season. Should arrive today. Will post back my thoughts when I get eyes on them.

I have the MotoXpricambi fiberglass race fairings with a "high quality" paint job and the fit and finish most excellent. I highly recommend them.

The MotoXP set up is awesome. I have 2 sets of race bodywork for my 1299S. One set is MotoGP replica and the other set is blue with Red Bull scheme. I paid $1100 for each race set which includes superbike tail, seat pad, tall wind screen and tank cover, along with the usual race pieces. They made special sponsor stickers and everything is clear coated.

If you bought race bodywork, w/ windscreen, seat pad, front fender and a superbike tail, it's over $700. Then you have to drill and mount it. Then you have to find a painter and choke (in Jacksonville at least) when he quotes you a "great" deal at $300 for solid red with white number plates. Then you wait 3-4 weeks because the painter is busy and heck...according to him..doing you a favor anyway. Then you re-mount it,

Alessandro at MotoXP sent me a supersport tail for my 1299S when I ordered a superbike tail. Alessandro didn't argue. He said "sorry, we appreciate your business. We will prepare you a superbike tail w/your race number if you pay the shipping."

There is a major bodywork manufacturer here in Florida. I can only imagine the response from the owner's wife when you tell her you ordered a superbike tail and not a supersport tail. Her response would probably entail what you could do with your superbike tail.

MotoXP-great guys, great product and they care about your business.

Was thinking about getting black tri colore scheme for my 1199. I got some for my 600RR race bike and they're pretty nice.

Mine are spotless. I haven't mounted them yet.

They came well boxed from Italy. I was very impressed how well they were wrapped.

Blurry, but you get the idea.

:)

Thanks for the all the replies, sounds like good stuff.

Soulrider, can you post how you get on with the fitting?

Ordering up some of these for christmas!.. have nto determined if they will be track or street though.

Received the shipment. The tail sections were incorrect. I had ordered the 1 piece and recieved the 3 piece. I sent an email and the response was that they don't make the 1299 tail in 1 piece and won't until January. Did offer to send me the 1199 tail. Support was responsive and continues to be.

There is zero hardware included but is required. So you will have to guess as to what is needed... Would be nice to have included a instruction sheet with size of fasteners needed that didn't come stock. Not a huge deal if you don't mind making several trips to the hardware store.

Lastly, compared to the sharkskinz, which I have on another bike, these things weigh a ton. They are well built and probably great for crashing but if you are looking for light, I would look at crc or sharkskinz.

Overall, well made, looks like they fit well and price is great.

did you have to drill your own holes? is it carbon or plastic or do you have a choice?

They offer fairings for the street and covers for the head- and tail lights. So you can change from street to track as you choose.

Thanks for the heads up Snk1199, i asked them about the street stuff and they said it would be ABS plastic.. SO will ask them to toss in a headlight blanking insert when i order.

I've been out of town on business. I'll probably start mounting them next weekend.
