Hey folks,
I just bought a used 2018 Panigale V4S. I didn't like the incumbent bar-end mirrors that stick out like elf ears, especially in the context of lane-splitting. I did really like the look of the stock mirrors, but I didn't want to buy them due to the abundance of anecdotes where the stock mirrors would off themselves upon the slightest touch.
So, I put my CAD skills to use and modeled a pair of mounts (Left/Right) to adapt the 1199's folding mirrors to the V4's front fairing. It obviously doesn't have that super sleek Ducati OEM look, but it's not as inconspicuous as I first expected.
Now the prototype in the pictures below is printed out of ASA so who's to tell how many miles they will last before crapping out. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hold off on getting these 3D printed in metal (the next cheapest option) until one of them breaks.
In the meantime, if anyone is interested let me know and I will drop my CAD files in here for y'all to print at will.
