How many of you listen to music while riding on street? Or track? Headphones or built-in speakers?

Just curious -

I did it on a long cross country ride, but never locally. Prefer not to when there's a lot of traffic around.

Oh yeah!!

My selection of gear was the Sena - which after intense research and reviews that is what i decided upon. Now these days ,its outdated and there are better systems Im sure. However, it still works fine for me for Music, calls, even texts & also comm between driver & passenger or another rider who's with you while riding! ;)

SMH10 - Sena

The one thing I did different was use their Plug In Earbud attachment instead of their speakers. This enables me to obtain a much better sound and also acts as a set of Ear-Plugs which i always wear regardless of who far i ride. Of course the damn ones i bought were near $300 which nearly made me faint! Lol.

As far as what music. Well, I created a special Playlist for when I ride - which of course consist of some hardcore stuff like Creed, Staind, GNR, etc. And then there is another playlist with calm stuff like Enya, Adele, and stuff like that for long highway rides ya know?

Many don't believe in listening to music while riding a bike, and I actually understand their point of view for sure - Safety! There is definitely a time & place NOT to listen to anything but whats around you (City riding of course) but IMHO I think some hardcore music makes me ride a bit harder and after all thats what these bikes are meant for right?

Gunny Out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,;)

I too uses the Sena SMH10 just to keep me insane in those traffic lol

sena smh 10r with a pair of ultimate ears custom monitors. sit flush fit perfect noise canceling so you can keep the music on low and still hear it clear.

I listen to music during solo rides over an hour through a Sena 20s.

Like Gunny, I use the earbud plug rather than the in-helmet speakers.

I strongly recommend Plugfones. They don't hurt like all the other earbuds.
