Got my MWR Air Filter installed today! :) Removal and installation took about 35mins start to finish. Looking forward to taking her out for a spin to see if there's any noticeable difference.

Looks great and I am very interested to hear if it makes a difference, because I have heard the engine has to be tuned to allow for the higher air flow.

Took her on a bout 150 mile ride this morning up and down Yarnell Hill. For those that don't know Yarnell hill is a nice 6 mile stretch of twisties that starts at the base of the Weaver Mountains and climbs 2500 ft to the town of..... you guessed it, Yarnell. :) What sucks is that road is about 50 miles from me so most of the morning ride was a straight stretch of boring ass road lol.

At any rate, I have a 1199 base with Termi Slip-Ons. I opted to the HE filter rather than the Race filter, reasons being; I don't have the full Termi system, the bike rarely sees any track time and while the install isn't difficult (race filter requires frequent cleanings) I wouldn't want to do this often.

Impressions: unfortunately, the butt dyno didn't record any noticeable difference in power. :( However, if you have a similar setup to me (slip-ons only), you won't need to have the bike tuned. If fact, if your bike runs a bit rich (like mine) the MWR leans things up a bit and the bike run a tab better down low. The last point worth mentioning and this might just me, but the exhaust note sounds a little bit more throaty. Thus far I'm very happy with the purchase, those with the full Term system may see better results.

Cheers for that rm4two, Glad to hear you had some changes and you are happy you did it.

Mine runs lean, so it will be interesting to see what happens when I put the filter on with the Rapid bike module.

If you want, you receive 10% off the filter when ordering from Bellissimoto?
When ordering off their site and PayPal just place notes in the comment section saying that you are a member here on this forum and your screen name, and that you received the discount info from me as well. It will be deducted from your total on PayPal and mailed out to you w free shipping.

They should have plenty of these on hand since it is a rather well selling item, and I concur with his statement on the HE over the Race filter too.
To me it made an even more throaty sound when getting on the throttle. Too bad I didnt do a dyno run before we installed the thing, only afterward. IMHO it is definetly a good buy to beef up your bike and I think Randy posted something on here showing actual data on the gains WITH and WITHOUT the MWR filter. Just thought I'd pass this on to the members if interested in one.

I REALLY appreciate the info! I will get on that right now!
