This was Desmo Track day at CMP on 9/12/15. I was on my 1199 and my buddy was on his Buell 1125R riding the advanced session. This was one of the last sessions of the day and by now our tires were starting to fail and we were both tired lol. We decided to go out and pace each other so we could get some good continuous footage of one another.
At about 9:20 in the vid approaching a fast right bend I lost focus for a slit sec, glanced at the sand in the run-off area and there I went. I missed my mark on the turn (or I felt like I did) so I stood the bike up @ about 120mph, braked as hard as I could while on pavement then rode it out once I hit grass then sand. He barely missed my rear tire as he ran off as well, fixated on me. I'd say experience kept us both up
