So, my coach, Cory Call is racing in the AMA Superbike races, in the 1000cc superbike (not superstock) class this weekend at Laguna Seca.!!!

If all of you could please send as many good vibes towards him as possible, I would appreciate it. Last year, he unfortunately ran over and killed a fellow competitor at this event and he was so devastated that he almost quit racing.

This guy has so much talent, it's unbelievable; to make it harder on him, he's 6'1" and around 200 lbs, all muscle and he's 44 years old! It takes a freaking TON of talent just to compete at this level, let alone on a privateer motorcycle.

I am hoping he gets into the top 10; I think that would be a MONUMENTAL achievement for him.

Cheers.

i remember the Laguna Seca race last year in which Martinez and Rivas were killed it was such a terrible accident.

My man Mark Heckles managed to get the win for Rydersalley Racing which was bitter sweet and it was our best result of the season.

Good luck to Cory and glad to see him line up on the grid again.

I'll be out there watching. Cory's been racing forever! Last year was a horrible deal, glad to see him still out there. I'll stop by and wish him luck.

Great weekend for Cory. 18th in race one, around 3 seconds a lap off Beaubier/Hayes/Elias. 16th in race two, only 2.6 seconds a lap off the leader's pace.

Freaking amazing for a guy who is 44 years old, weighs 50 lbs more than the top guys and on a privateer bike with stock electronics and a basic engine tune.

I am still going to give him some sh1-t over not getting at least a 15th place.

Great job Cory..
