Have decided to retire all my Ducati's. Final straw was when I asked Ducati Australia for assistance with a problem with my Desmosedici & told them I am 100% willing to pay all costs & not trying to get something for nothing. There answer was along the lines of stuff you jack we got your money now & we don't give a stuff about your problem, don't make my day hard. At the time I was just about to put my deposit on the 2017 Superleggera but was so disappointed with Ducati's response that I went out the next day & purchased a new 2017 MV Augusta F4RC, best move I ever made as the RC's attention to detail puts my 1199R Ducati to shame. I guess that Ducat thinks that a person who has spent around $500k Australian on Ducati bikes is not good enough for them to get of their arse & help a very good customer with a genuine problem with there flagship motorcycle. I guess now I will spend my money with MV Augusta, Maybe I will still ride my desmo every now & then but only on a nice cold winters day. Value for dollar compared to the Panigale 1199R the MV F4RC wins hands down in every way. I am done with Ducati's.

Beautiful bike! I love that exhaust. MV makes the best looking bikes out there. Wish they had more of a presence in the USA.

I hate to hear about them treating you that way, especially after spending so much money. However, that MV is a gorgeous bike!

Guy on our local forum has had nothing but problems with MV and lost a shitload in devaluation.

I would have tried another dealership, I got the best customer service you could ask for from Wayne Patterson Bunbury Ducati.

Also in Australia we have consumer law things have to last for a reasonable amount of time regardless of warranty.

The MV is def a great looking bike. Aftermarket stuff is a bit scarce and they are for sure in need of Jenny Craig but they are probably the best looking thing going. I wish there were more custom builders for people to have that option. I love my home built 1299 and "bike II" is almost done but I would honestly never buy a factory bike again. I get not everyone can or wants to build their own stuff but if you are able to, you will never go back to accepting what they give and have to deal with the "we got your money" mentality. Give me a motor, swingarm and a frame and leave me alone. Nice addition man.

Did you report the dealer to Ducati Italy? Otherwise that bad behavior will never change

Congratulations on your new bike looks awesome and I can imagine the scream from that SC exhaust [emoji3]have fun

There is something very odd about the OPs post. You start by saying you need assistance and are willing on paying as you don't want something for nothing, but they don't want to work on your bike. There is far more to this story than what we know folks.

In my opinion there is no sense to report anything to Ducati Italy. I sent them an email couple of weeks ago with the list of my recent issue and have zero response from them so far(except mail that somebody will get back to me)

Unfortunately "apple does not fall far from the tree"

Maybe they have now so mamy complaints now that they can't handle it [emoji3] I got my fork leaking issue covered under warranty thanks to Ducati Italy

Sorry to hear about your issues with Ducati and congrats on the MV. From what friend who have MV's, primarily the F3, the customer service has been worse than Ducati. Best of luck to you.

Good for you!!! I bet that MV sounds like heaven with the SC Project!
