Went and bought my new boots and helmet today, They are soooooo sweet! Have a look.

I never owned a Shoei before but it is the best as far as I've been told. Can not wait to ride with it.
 
Duke, those are Nice! Good for you man!

I told my wife it's just like gettin the baby's room ready for the new delivery. Gotta go out and get stuff ready, new crib, toys, booties you know...

It's so much fun anticipating and preparing for the new girl...

I got a new helmet just a few days ago too. I've wanted one of these since I first saw it at the IMS show in '09.

I've felt it was too much of an indulgence, 3 years later and it's no longer made and there are only a few leftovers, I'm not in love with any of the new styles so I grabbed it before it is gone:

Grabbed a new Alpinestars summer jacket during the local "Black Friday" sale too.

That is so true! My wife just giggles at me, I am like a kid getting everything in order waiting for that train to Disneyland. Soooooo pumped!!!!!
Your helmet is sweet. Like the coat as well, I have an old ducati coat so I am not sure if will buy a new one but we will see.

That's an awesome jacket. Much nicer than the new styles IMO

My new one is just a very light mesh and textile. I wouldn't wear it for any "serious" riding.

My leather Jacket is also a few years old and still in great shape.
I'd love to have one like yours but I can't bring myself to spend $800 on a Ducati Corse jacket :eek:

To be on such a special bike like the 1199, i'm tempted to get something really special and outstanding , i'm leaning towards this .....(is this made and is it legal?)

If you lift your head at over 90 mph, just when you shifted into 2nd gear it will tear you head off.
 
Tried on a pair of Sidi's today and they felt way more comfortable than the alpine stars so the stars had to get replaced.
 
Ducati is Making a Tri Colore Helmet made by Arai. It's going to be a Corsair V and will have the same paint job as the tri. I ordered one and it's going to be sick. I do like the Shoei though. It's going to look great too.

This is the new helmet that made me buy the desmo graphic style helmet... :)

i can't believe the luck, i just bought the same helmet two weeks ago. and to think you ordered the same bike and live in the same province as me!!!! i think i might have found my twin brother! lol
