My new panigale R!!

Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself to this forum as I look forward to reading all your helpful tips!

I just picked up a brand new 2015 Panigale R from the dealer yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it! The acceleration on this bike is brutally fast compared to my 2001 996S!

Anyways, here's my obligatory first pic of the bike!

quick question for everyone since I'm new....

When I'm looking for parts, does the '15 R fit more under the parts made for the 1299 or the 1199?

The engine in the R is 1199, but it's made in the cycle of the 1299, so I just wanted clarification, thanks!
 
For bodywork, fueling and slip-on exhaust, look 1299.
Just about everything else should fit either.
 
The "R" is always massively lust-worthy... Beautiful bike and I hope I see you out there sometime, since I am also in the Bay Area (North Bay).
