Great phots. Someone in the UK should be sacrificed for making us require such disgusting humongous helipad number plates.
 
give me a write up on that helmet, nice bikes by the way, I too have a Scrambler and did 5k over the summer on, WSB at Imola, WDW, Red Bull ring and up and down the Croatian coast.

I know several people that I have worked with that I'd gladly offer up!

I was stopped several years ago by traffic police as my milie was still registered to a garage in Devon whilst I was riding in Norfolk. Whilst they were finding out details from dvla the cop who was a biker was looking around it, said I'd of taken the baffles out as well. However do not put a small plate on. Many of my colleagues view it at giving them the middle finger. As It is a blatantly obvious flouting of the law and you will get done straight away.

Depends upon their mood on the day. Never been troubled for having a 7x5 plate fitted in 25 years of riding. Not saying it won't happen but it's a very officious officer that will do you if he wants to, in my humble experience. They are far more interested in your riding antics, if you have been up to no good, than getting overly excited at the size of your number plate. It won't mitigate your plea if you've been stopped for good reason as it just strengthens their argument, but I have been to several bike meets with officers present and on duty and none gave any bike there with a smaller than legal plate on, a second glance.

It reminds me to put visiting Ironbridge on my bucket list.
For any engineer this should be a must, it's a symbol of the dawn of industrialization and the way how to combine function with design!
 
It's a marvel, if I get out on one of the bikes this week I'll try and post a beautiful aqueduct not far from me.
If you do make it to Blighty shout up , Michael and I will make sure we meet up with you
 
I also have a legal plate on my bike, but I cut about an inch off it around the edge to the inside of the border it had around it. It made a huge difference and is still legal.... I think , nobody has stopped me, and if they did I would show them the hologram and sabs markings.
In this day and age of QR codes and transponders I can't believe we still have to strap these old school things to our vehicles.
