Hey guys looking for a 1 piece track suit. Not trying to blow a lot of dough. The suit I have was my cousins.. Now I want to buy my own gear. I need boots & suit. I got gloves & helmet. My D store is doing a custom suit event I am thinking I may do that but again forgive the pun. I'm trying to tailor my costs. Although nothing is like a custom suit. Ricondi just caught my eye. Full suit for 8-900 bucks. I'm welcoming all informative responses.

What should I be looking for as far as tech & fit ?

I'm switching completely from golf to track days.

Thanks guys.

So kevlar titanium all that stuff doesnt matter ? I was using an AXO but it is too big. , it wasn't mine &, I haven't had an off yet.. whats the difference between a 750 suit and a 2k suit ?? Revzilla videos only go through features not benefits...

I just got the Dainese Trickster Evo 1pc and love it. Kangaroo leather and perforated. I tend to get hot at anything over 60f and this suit helps with that. It's also significantly lighter (pounds, not ounces) than a regular leather suit. I didn't weigh them when comparing, but when holding a kangaroo suit and regular leather together you really can tell the difference. Along with the Dainese Axial Pro In boots I have a great set up. It's much less bulky around the shins compared to out boot set ups.

Not so crazy about the Dainese gloves I have though (they're not in the picture below, the ones in the picture are not gauntlet gloves, the others were on order at the time) they're stiff and don't offer enough feel for me in the palm area. Looking at getting a set of Helds next season.

Disregard the waist pack thing. No pockets in leathers!

The difference IS the features. a little mesh here, a few more stretch panels there, and extra slider or two there. IMHO, a $750 suit will probably provide you 90%+ of the protection of a 2K suit. I would spent more money on better Boots & Gloves. I went with Alpinestars Monza suit and a Back protector, a middle tier sub 800 dollar combo since I got it on sale. For boot and gloves I went with Supertech R and GP Plus gloves. Yes I am an A* whore

Is that a WRX ?

Is that a fanny pack ?

I love the trickster suit too... in white...
2k is hard when I want parts & such...
damn decisions..

all titanium crash pads, vented mesh, air bags, kangaroo inserts won't help, if they're not in the right place.

i mean we're not talking Joe Rocket gear, we're talking Brand name closeouts vs. high end brand name gear.

a good suit, with thick leather, the right protection in the right places, which let's you move properly on the bike is all you need. you might want some kevlar here and there, but as said, rather spend the extra on a good back protector, and good fitting gloves and some undergear (for easy entry and exit to and from the suit)

and keep[ in mind, the suits are a little stiff in the beginning, the fitment will get better.

WORLD CLASS - GP RACING SERIES SUIT *RUNOUT SALE* - Leather Suits

Is that garbage?

A* is nice too SP-1 for me I think..

looks good and thought through. how about trying it on though? free return shipping ;)

advantage is with no brand name leathers, is you don't have to pay the brand name
