Need advice on Carbon Belly Pan

Hey fellow 1199 owners!

I have some spare cash to spend and thinking of adding some carbon!

i thinking of getting the belly pan in carbon but i am not sure if it will suit the lines of the bike.

Ideally i like to go carbon tail and carbon belly pan but i think it will look odd being a two tone red and gloss carbon?

inputs?
 
i think it would look bad-A$$. there was a pic on the web a while ago, a blue 1199 at some show that had carbon belly pan, would look awesome
 
Maybe go with the middle fairing piece carbon with design elements and leave the belly pan red even.
 
i remember the picture on the blue one. it looked great but that color blue doesn't exist. I feel just my opinion it takes away from the red one.

Pictures with the Ducati Corse stickers on the carbon belly pan looks aesthetically pleasing, without too plain, however if you like the look, who really cares what others think.
 
I went for a carbon tail sections and rear seat cover on my red bike. Decided to leave one section of it in red to visually tie it with the rest of the bike. I wasn't sure if I would like it but overall I think it looks pretty good. Please excuse the cruddy iPhone pics and the "R2D2" trash can in the background...

Mavic- I think that look is awesome man! Great combo ! You just planted another thought in my head which is bound to cost me money! :D

Wondering how the carbon belly pan would look on a Tri though?

Have the carbon rear seat cowl which does look sweet and may go well with a belly pan, I think? :eek:

I think its coming together but not finished yet.. I think you need a carbon front fender to balance the theme more...Just my opinion :)

Just got off the phone w my Ducati painter buddy who is doing some really trick .... to mine. Think about a customized carbon front fender too!
Will post pics when I get it back soon. The suspense of what its gonna look like is killing me (not like suicide pack killing me) but I dont know what he is doing to it, just told him to run with ideas and make it come back with nice glossy finish at least! :D
