Any idea of what this could be. My 1299 when i turn the key the fuel pump will prime and the bike will make the starting noise when i press the button but will just continue to do it and will never actually fire up. I have a missing o2 sensor atm and i have another one on order but i don’t think the o2 sensor will completely stop it from cranking up. Can anyone help me out

I got my service writers on speed dial for .... like this.

I have a feeling ones your bike is back together with all it’s components, it’ll start right up

New 02 sensor is in and a new battery is in. No check engine lights or anything. I hear fuel pump priming when i turn the key the bike just turns and turns but never actually fires up

If you had the electric pod off the right side I would go back and check all the connections, especially at the coil. Make sure the battery is fully charged, the newer bikes seem very sensitive to low voltages and while they make crank, they won’t start if the voltage is too low. Check the spark plugs, if you haven’t changed them they may be carbon fouled because of the faulty oxygen sensor.

That was my thought too. Are they a big pain in the ... to get to?
The vertical cylinder isn’t so bad, the horizontal is a PITA! You’ve got to pull the radiator to get to the front. The access hole described in the manual doesn’t even line up. So to get the radiator off you’ve got to remove the silencers, disconnect exhaust servo, loosen clutch side electrical pod. First time is the worst, I removed the service after that which made it a little easier this go around.

Better get that Akra exhaust installed while you’re changing those spark plugs

Akra already installed lol but i took it to a shop to hopefully get the situation figured out

I’m gonna throw out a guess and say that the plug to the coil isn’t connected. It easy to miss and I almost did it when I put the pod back on.

I had the same issue on my 1199 and for this life of me I could not figure it out .

The last thing I checked was the plugs sure enough it was . If you have a missing O2 and the bike ran rich might of killed a plug .

The plugs are a pain to change especially the front rad has to come out . It’s fairly easy .

Good luck
