I am installing Rizoma reservoirs on my tri color and was going to do black, however I am debating weather I should use red as my frame plugs will be red. I have R Lightech rear sets coming which are red so this has got me going. Other colors on the bike are gold Sato tie down and gold bar ends.

Thanks,

In my experience, there can be a lot of variation in red anodizing on aluminum parts, especially from different vendors. If you want it all to match, I would keep the red to a minimum or at least try to go with all the same vendor.

Good luck and post pictures.

Same goes for gold.
Personally, red and gold tend to look tacky, particularly if there is too much of it and if there is variation in the colours.

I tend to go for black on all aftermarket billet, with the odd natural aluminum to spice up the bike.

I agree with JeffD. I did all aluminium parts on my Pani in red. It is definitely a very difficult colour. Great colour variations between the suppliers and it degrades over time in sunlight and heat. It's not a problem of quality of the producer, it's a physical phenomenon.

I did a lot of experiments with different kinds of DOT fluid containers on different bikes...
My final conclusion is: the stock containers are very good, you can view its content better than with any 3rd party solution. Because i am fond of bling, I just change the containers cap. CNC racing gives the best results in my humble opinion. And the red caps are really fabolous.

Maybe due to bumpy roads here but both front and rear brake Oem reservoirs leaked fluid. Replaced with Rizomas they look great and are better quality obviously.
Went with black, rear photo attached

Go with black anodized and let your bike sit out in the sun. They'll turn a cool bronze color eventually, just like my Woodcraft clip ons and will REALLY stand out. ;)
