Hello All,

I have a new bike and tried the front headlight and DRL for the first time but nothing happens. I turn the low/high beam on using the left handlebar slider as well as the high beam flash and nothing happens. I also hit the grey light button the right and nothing happens except the green headlight symbol goes on and off but again no light from the front. My turn signals front/rear as well as my rear running lights work The bike has 55 miles on it.

The manual shows there is a socket for a light fuse but not fuse is listed. I went into the physical fuse box and there is no fuse connected.

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated!

Shop Manual Link, Page 228/29 is what I am referencing.

Are there terminals in the fuse box for a fuse? From what the owners manual says I don't think there's supposed to be a fuse there.

I'm not familiar with the wiring on a Supersport, but on the Panigale V4 its very easy for the connector going to the left controls to become unseated resulting in the controls not functioning.

you speak the truth!
The switch block with a socket for the wiring to plug in is a great idea, however it's so discreet that most don't even realise there's a connection there, i didn't, my SP was almost brand new and wouldn't start, i tried everything too, in the end i took it to a workshop with a Texa and they diagnosed it, i took it home to check that wiring circuit and undoing the rubbers that hold the wiring all together it just fell out..... once i clicked it firmly into place the bike started, DOH!
So yeah, check the wiring loom where it plugs into the switch block, and check both sides, to be sure they're both connected properly.

I think it's like that on purpose, as a means of protection in a crash. Should the left bar get ripped off, the connector will merely pull out thereby saving the wiring harness.

Ya reckon?? Mine made a definite "click" when i pushed them in and they actually seated properly, I like the idea of the connector at the switch block rather than having to disassemble the bike to find a connector behind the fairing somewhere but i'm convinced mine was just not assembled correctly
