New bike with problems

Hello everyone.

I have got a new DDD (Ducati Diavel Diesel) and already have some problems with it. It has 70 km mileage only.
1. The horn completely does not work. Today I have had a situation on the road and I was very "surprised" when pushing the horn's button.
It's clear. I will visit the dealer. But does some one else had the same problem?
2. When I drive it on the road the exhaust systems switching ON/OFF!
How it is possible? I mean like you go with a sound like chopper motorbike and suddenly you go almost without any sound like an electric bike! WTF?
By the way in this moment when it is happening you can not feel any changes - goes normally. And then it is turning ON and so on.

I have ordered the Termignoni exhaust. I really don't like when the sound of exhaust is too loud, but the sound of stock one is really sucks like some metal can of canned food. Is there any way to make the Termignoni's sound nice but not too loud?

In the manual find out where the volume knob is for the exhaust it goes to 11 . Set it on about 8

Oh really?! It has the adjustment system?
Looks like I have to read manual first.

Might be a experimental Hybrid motor ? Ducati sneak this .... out there

No. There is no any mention about hybrid engine or adjustable exhaust system in manual.

Could be the exhaust flapper Valve opening and closing? You will need to turn the volume up on the horn it's in the manual . Set that 11

Check the connections for the horn. Could have just came loose and disconnected. My 1199 horn disconnects once in a while. I'm just too lazy to tighten the connection.

I've seen this problem before. You have to be wearing Diesel Jeans while riding or the bike will malfunction.

Yes. I definitely have this problem!

So. What I have found out is that it looks like some kind of valve is closing when you move on 3rd gear and the speed is in range 50 - 54 km/h. Really when you reach the 55 km/h mark it's turning on again. And it is doesn't happening if you drive fast through this speed range. Only if you ride at this range some time.
I don't know what is it but looks like silence mode. Really it becoming so quiet like hybrid car. It could be even some fun and sometimes useful if it is not some kind of problem.
I will visit the dealer.

The horn is fixed and the exhaust system is replaced to Termignoni.
Now it is the fully satisfying motorbike.
