I catch myself thinking that abt a lot of things but recently been switching them over in my brain to “must haves” there are many
if we received our bikes with all of the fixings that I feel it shoulda come with standard, you wouldn’t be seeing all these build threads
and the bikes woulda been $60k, $70k?
I’m sure, even the $100,k Superleggera probably is probably delivered with it’s fair share of “must haves” still needing to be completed!
Great topic of discussion actually. Ducati got a glimpse of this a bit when the BMW came out with a bike comparable to the 1299SL in price but elected to outfit it with top shelf parts (sbk forks, brakes, masters etc). In this case, it’s more of a should have purchase than a want. The 99s have always needed a cooling solution. Having a 1299 that can hover at 190-193 degrees on a hot day in traffic is a mod I would consider a very justifiable option
For the guys that will be getting the SBK radiators all water or water/oil the MC carbon shroudless fan setups are available. They look like this without the upper/lower mounting tabs and zip tie in place for mounting.
Also the fiberglass V fairing and head cover that Galleto supply will not work with any of the street fairings only race bodywork so the MC carbon replacements are available now as well.
