^^^^^ These suckers dont know nothing about italian styling. Looks and detailing are superb. (Have one myself, haha)
And it isnt exactly new,Evotech has sold them since 2012..

They are soon releasing a lower triple clamp and a clutch cover.
The lower clamp does look real promising..

I received two lower triple clamps last week from EvoTech. They look awesome. I already have the upper clamp since a couple of years and I am very happy with it.
Before replacing the ugly OEM clamp on the SL and my race Pani, I was contemplating on the steering bearings.

There are some threads on other forums about steering bearings, but no real conclusion :-(
What kind of steering bearings would you install? The OEM ones cost about USD 60.- here.
Ducati uses the same bearings for almost all their bikes since centuries: Shoulder ball bearings, 55x35x14.5 mm.

There are tapered roller bearings on the market, some no name, NTN makes some, Athena (but I have no clue where these bearings are really comming from), MaxTourer (JP), PodiumRacings sells some kit, etc.

Does anybody have a good advice, or do you know what pro racing teams prefer to install?

I'm happy for any input! Thanks a lot!!

Some words on installment Gecko,is the stem included or do you reuse the old one?

First of all, I agree 100% with your opinion. I've got all parts available from EvoTech. Top quality, best CNC finishing on the market. Very cool design. And their sales people are great. They made a couple of special pieces for my SL. Awesome.

Their lower triple clamp comes with a separate stem which one has to screw into the clamp's body (extremely fine thread). Outer diameter is the same as OEM. Also included are two aluminium rails to be inserted into the clamp. They contain the six M6 threads. It's the same mechanism as with their top yoke.

Hey Gecko so with head bearings I am running the Podium tapered roller bearings. They are nice but the seals that are supplied need to be trimmed/modified tiny bit. The hardest part you will run into is removing the old races I ended up cutting the race then using a bearing puller. Some people and I know Ed (Endoduc) removed the main factory aluminum cups installed new ones and of coarse the new roller bearing races. Make sure not to tighten the head nut too tight the tapered roller bearings have to have very little set down on them.
