New Fender Eliminator Kit with LED Signals?

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

A bit overpriced?! I'll admit the signals look pretty cool but that fender eliminator is nothing special. I have the NRC and the only gripe is the bulky signals they send you but the FE itself is not even noticeable.

I just installed my NRC rear, and front block off plate signals,on my 1199, looks great, installs easy, everything plugs in and they are BRIGHT. Bought them on Amazon, the price is right.

Meh I'll keep my nrc. Way too expensive.

You can get the NRC ones that has been out for a long time for half the price. People have been using them for years and everyone loves them. Plus we all know that for the NRC fender eliminators you will not need a new flasher relay, the flash rate doesn't change.

You can get the NRC stuff here, free shipping within USA as well. Delivery within 3 business days > NRC Fender Eliminator Kits 899 959 1199 1299

The last thing I think when I looked at a tail of a Panigale with the NRC fender eliminator kit is, "Oh no, the fender eliminator needs to be slimmer".

Impressive price, and not really any technical details on it. A clear no-go!
What's better, how is it manufactured, what about the differences on the two version (full, blinkers only)? They must have a really bad sales guy.

For this price I would expect some sort of EU or DOT approval.

the motobox looks WAY NICER than the NRC ... if u can afford a Panigale, why would you skimp a hundred & fifty bucks or so and not have a svelter rear, assuming the LEDs are as bright....

The NRC kit came to me (twice) missing parts and with the wrong bolts etc and that was the revised kit and the second time happened after I was assured they were on top of such issues. I was also told by NRC that I had to drill the plate holder myself to get the license plate to mount properly. They said it's impossible to make a plate which fits every state which is weird because I never had any issues like this before with other kits, including two from the UK.

The NRC kit looks low rent in its finish quality and isn't quite as form fitting as it should be. The rough routed lenses are particularly cheap looking. They have the right idea but poor execution. There's probably a reason it's quite cheap.

This kit looks nice and I'm OK with the extra cost if the quality and performance is there.

yep and the irony is ppl here crying about $150 after dropping huge money on the dumbest gaudiest ugliest .... possible, whereas this is a clean minimal elegant simple design .. ... smh....

if upon zooming in on each respective product you cant ascertain a rather significant difference, then there's nothing i nor anyone else can further add... just njoy what u got then and dont worry bout it...

Just to be clear, I'm not in the market for either kit (I have the carbon undertail without the big hole), just thought some of you guys might want to see another option.

Personally, I think it is significantly better (in the looks department) than the NRC. It's much more streamlined, and you can't even see it from the sides. It almost looks stock. The NRC unit looks like a well done DIY project, IMHO.

Here's a better photo of the motobox... it does look more streamlined, but I dunno. I'm still waiting for the MotoDynamic one that will never come out, lol. But, I bought my bike with the DP fender and upgraded DP LED signals. I'll run with those for a while since it looks nice enough.

I run the motobox slimline kit on my sport classic and I'm very happy with the design and quality of the hardware, LEDS ETC - looks fantastic. Will definitely be picking up this version for the 1199 and ditching the Evotech.

For that price. It should of been made by Ducati. And no half an inch shorter, slimmer doesn't make any different. NRC one is fine for the price and that money you save can go toward other things you can get for the bike. Smart buyer never buys the most expensive things on the market. We buy it for the function.

what does a panigale have to do with being a "smart buyer" and being on this forum? keep laughing and one day you still won't figure it out...

I like it. Maybe a stupid question, but what is the difference between "turn signals only" and "fully integrated"??
