How's it goin guys? Bought a 2012 Panigale S back in November from a forum member, and have just been lurking ever since. Found some awesome info on exhausts here, and just bought an Akrapovic exhaust for the bike. I look forward to getting to know you guys, and contributing to the site!

Welcome!!!! Akra huh?? Nice choice...what are you planning on using as a fueling solution????

Thanks! I was tempted to get an used set of termi's, as it seems you can get them for a really good price now, but I was impressed by the sound, and like that they're full Titanium. I still need to look into that, but at this point I'm kind of leaning towards a rexxer unit with the tool to switch maps so I can set the map back to stock if I have to bring it in to the dealership as there's still a year and a half left on the warranty. Of course I guess that won't matter if the exhaust itself voids the warranty. Haha I'll have to ask the dealership about that!

Welcome! I originally hail from the Chicago area. Without getting too personal - whereabouts are you from?

Congrats on the bike - I've been eyeing an Akra pipe myself for quite a while. Come oooooon tax returns!

haha yeah we've gotten a lot more than last year so far! I'm already getting super impatient for spring to come! That bike is nuts!

No doubt about the snow - this is more like winters of my youth. :D

I think I rode my Duc to work most days last December and January. Been a lot harder this year

I would love to do that, I've got the gear to ride in the cold. Have you ever had any problems with the salt on the road boone?

There's not much salt out here in the PNW; we use sand instead, but thinking forward I would simply say expect the unexpected. Ride extra cautiously and remember that cold tires suck.

I'll def. have to keep that in mind about the tires. I probably wouldn't have thought about that until it was too late! haha
