Hello all. I'm new to the forum and currently own a Multistrada. I am looking at getting a 2014 1199R. Any ideas as to what a fair price OTD would be in So Cal. Thank you.

Welcome! No idea on the SoCal price on a new R but likely close to MSRP since it's got those new-fangled hazard lights ($1,000 more than the '13 without them)!

Lots of SoCal riders here will surely clue you in on price and who to buy from.

Welcome....Price?? I think anything less than Msrp is a good place to start :)

They are less than than you think - you can find them slightly used (<1,000 miles) for around $27,000. Got a quote last week from an LA dealer for a new one for $27,500 + TTL so target would be $29,000 OTD. Good luck!

Go to Proitalia, they'll take care of you.

Warm welcome

Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum! Pulled the trigger on a 2014 1199r from Pro Italia. Love the bike!

Congrats! You're gonna love the 'R! She's gonna bitch atcha a lot on the slow twisty roads in SoCal. Once you get up over about 85mph and a bit of throttle, it really starts coming together. If you're interested in any Rockstore or Neptunes' Net rides through the Malibu canyons hit me up. Usually go on Sundays for brunch and meet up with the Ducati Westlake crew.
