Anyone hear any rumours of a new termi full system? Any hard info?

Sorry I should have read the post below, seems that something new is on the way.

what post on this? i am very interested if you have information let me know

I went to have my first service and get the full system installed this week on my bike that was ordered with the bike.

There have been lots of delays with the exhaust being shipped from Ducati then their 20 day shutdown for Christmas. Anyway finally the dealer managed to phone and ask why the system hasn't been shipped.

They said they were sorry but the manifold is being reenigineered and that the new version would not be shipping until the start of April (same time as the new R....?).

So I'm back to waiting but the slip on and new map are great but would still like to geth the full system on the bike.

I think the only difference is because of a modified heat shield as per the recall coming out for the standard pipes there is a better heat shield for the full system as well

Interesting tidbit....my 1098R Bayliss came with the Akro system as stock and the Termi's as a separate, race only application, that were installed with the appropriate ECU upgrade before I took delivery.

Didn't know that Akro supplied stock pipes for Duc's

There is buzz that the header part of the full system is being re-engineered. Must have been too many dynos showing up where the stock headers were out-performing it.

All this totally unsubstantiated. If anyone has something concrete I'm interested to hear. Suspect it's something that would go to race teams first.

Well its not rumour that the factory are currently not supplying the headers and they are being reengineered as I was sat with the dealer when he was talking to the factory on speaker phone. They wouldn't give any details about how its being changed though.

I guess coming from a tiny island where nothing is ever stocked means that there is no old stock here so we'll find out quickly when stuff changes if you happened to order it as it all comes direct from the factory.

There is no Ducati Canaria as such just a dealer/importer in one.
