28 without termis installed but Ducati corse rearsets for free and that's no taxes included

Kinda off the subject, but you guys have it so good... Helps to live in the biggest luxury auto/moto market. I think the U.S. has the cheapest Ducati prices in the world.

The R is US$50,000 in Chile. That's what I paid in April. The S is US$40,000

EDIT: Just a note... All prices include 19% VAT

This is a very vague question due to varied taxes by State, not to mention you are getting OCONUS replies as well. Just curious why you would want to know this? :)

HOLY .... BRIS !!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Still not as bad as Switzerland Gunny, 48k euro is about 70k AUD!

I hate that I can buy the R model in the US for the less then what I paid for my S model here in Aus and still have cash left over for upgrades! I paid 36k with Termi slips for my 13 'S'

Dang!

I'll stay in Chile! :p

MSRP and the dealer ate the cost on the trade-in. I owed $15K on it! They just wanted to move the bike I guess. At the end of the month reality gets thrown out the window.

true about state who has different taxes, but i wanted to know are you guy paying msrp or invoice? thanks.

Go in there the VERY LAST DAY OF THE MONTH your dealer is open...at lunch, do a test ride of a base or S, run a credit app (even if you wanna pay cash - shows you're serious and can afford the bike), then walk away. Say you wanna test ride a HP4 and have some thinking to do. Make up any BS you want. The dealer wants to make sales numbers and will do things you'd think are stupid to get the sale. If your experience is like mine, the dealer will do everything they can to keep you there, making concessions until you and the GM are satisfied. If you aren't talking to the GM or watching your sales guy get told off by the GM for your offers, then you can go lower!

The last business day of the month reality goes out the window. I only buy cars and bikes on this day now. Absolutely killed the dealership on my wife's car this way too. And had a bunch of extras thrown in @ 50% off just because the finance dept. wanted to move stuff. Edit: Forgot to mention I did this with my first car as a broke college grad...I had no negotiating power but kept on lowballing the dealer on the last day of the month and walking away...I got what I wanted.
