New guy from Raleigh NC

New to Ducati

Just purchased a new to me 2012 1199 Panigale S.

- Bike is basically stock has 1300 miles from previous owner, it appears he added a CF rear hugger. I removed the plate holder and fork reflectors. will be converting it to full race over the winter. This will be my race bike for the Supertwins class for CCS next year...until then I'll enjoy as street for a bit!

My backdrop- Started riding at the end 2010. found myself on the track 9 months later doing my first trackday with Nesba. Never looked back. Like most, I worked my way up through various clubs to their advanced group. I then set my eyes on club racing...did a few with TPM then started with CCS/ASRA as an amateur last year. Tried it out and fell in love with doing it. Finished up my second season at VIR in Sept. Next season I will try to make all the events in the SE. May try a few WERA rounds.

2012 1199 Panigale S

Other than bikes-
-I am an avid IDPA shooter.
-Spent 8 years in the US Army Infantry.
-Job occupation; Landlord

05 1000 and an 06 600. i raced a small circuit for a year. it was a blast.
And yeah you can almost find parts at walmart LOL

Ha! Thats the truth! Every squid in town wrecking them on a regular! Or stretching them... broken spool mount? No problem....fresh swingarms on ebay for $40 all day

Nice! That 05 1000 was one of my favorite years.

Thanks! Nice, taking advantage of TPMs 50 dollar days! I'll definitely see you out there next year. NCBike, and VIR are my "local" tracks. I absolutely love riding Road Atlanta and the Grand configuration at VIR. Damn hurricane in October messed up my end of the year finale there with cornerspeed. Where abouts in NC are you from?
