I didn't really even think about the fact that it could be hideous. Hmmm, since it doesn't bother me all too much maybe I'll opt out if it's ugly.

For now I'll wait for pics since it's not even close to riding season for this fair weather fan.

I got my letter yesterday

i saw at the shop and spoke to one of the service guys and they think they will have all the details very soon so maybe we can see the fix, before they actually do it

No letter yet, but my 2013 already has the new heat shield in place. Max temp even in stop and go traffic is 150 degrees F.

it does? any chance at a pic? seeing the 13 at the show in NYC it had the same heat shield as my 12... or appeared damn close.

Sorry, I'm under NDA from DNA so I can't reveal a pic. Let's just say it is made from unobtanium 14 and appears to closely resemble a space shuttle tile.
