It rubbed a bit for sure.

Does not rub paint, but i fitted 4 strips of tape on plastics, just in case. Bag is best to be full, when you pull straps tight, bag lifts from plastics, i also fitted grip matting on seat, which also helps with movement.

Used on one trip for about 700 miles, no problems, heading out on Wednesday for a two day run, will try and take some photographs.

Kriega US 20.

Do the fasteners show when bag is not on? Thanks for the pics

Ya fasteners show. Although I guess you could technically hide them under the seat.

And I rode 5000 miles with very full bags and they certainly rubbed a little of the paint. I didn't care personally, but some people are a bit pickier.

Just to point out the obvious; one is to put on the passenger seat prior to mounting the bag. Do NOT put the bag on top of the single seat cowl.

I guess my point was more that you don't need to buy these straps. You can use the ones your bags came with, punch a hole and use a 3 cent washer.

I literally rode through 75 mph winds and parallel to a tornado with this system. The bags won't go anywhere.

Brilliant stuff best out there! Totally waterproof , practical. Just bought some for the scrambler
and tool kit holder for the multistrada
Used it for years

All,

I am a big fan of the Kriega Luggage range and I found this on their website yesterday. It is new fasteners for their luggage for the passenger seat on the Panigale.

Panigale fit kit - Accessories

Cheers

Jock I did the same as dynasty SS did with some of the extra strapping they supply. I had to buy some different length stainless steel bolts and washers and just played around till I got it correct. I have the US20 and US10 that I put on.
I have tankslapper protective film on my bike and just put the pillion seat on to stop damage to the normal tail. When no bag is on it all tucks under the tail out of view.
Its cheap enough to buy the kit and save yourself some trouble though. I always enjoy playing around with the bike though and trying to do things myself.

cheers
