New Rage Mirror block off indicators

Hi Guys,

I've just received a pair of the newrage mirror block off indicators. I have a question for the guys that have these fitted already.... Did you completely remove the nose fairing to be able to tuck the wiring and plug down the fairing stay? I have about 50mm of cable and plug that extends out of the fairing (that used to tuck into the stock mirror) that I cant seem to feed down out of the way so I can flush mount the new indicator plates.

Do u see the channel in the fairing stay that's designed for the wiring??

I couldn't see much down the hole as the wiring was blocking most of the view. I'll take another look tonight. I'd imaging I can pull the top of the fairing away from the fairing stay a bit and maybe and coax it down from behind....

Thanks again, I'll sort it tonight. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being rough by not planning on taking the nose fairing off.

Tuck and go. It's a little tight so ease it in like a gentlemen....

Screw driver or needle nose pliers and jam that .... in there.

Yes a nice skinny and long screwdriver should do the trick. Shove the connectors into the channels. Also, you can slightly pull/flex the fairing away from the stay, catch the wires/connectors with the screwdriver and tuck 'em in.
