New Streetfighter V4: The Fight Formula

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

1) not sure I like the brushed aluminum surrounding the radiator, especially a Non R model

2) Styling, something about the proportions, the exhaust being "heavy" looking (I know it can be changed but you spend $22-23k and then add $2-5500 for an exhaust..., the nose seems more mosquito than previous rendering, and personally I hate there is no fly-screen, I worry about cracking or breaking the TFT gauge, as well as bugs grime etc.

The radiator is big and ugly.
The exhaust looks massive and is ugly.

But... I think I still want one...

Just ordered one... Going to be my second Ducati... apart from my 659. I'm so excited.

I'm I don't care about the exhaust because I'll add the AKR before I ever pick it up. I'm sure the winglets and radiator trim will come out in Carbon Fiber before I ever get the bike anyways. I want the engine and electronics package with the up right bars.... I can make the rest what I want just like all the rest of my ladies.. :)

Its looking to be around the same pricing as the V4/v4S plus the stupid price for the Akra's.

so 28k plus 10k for Akra's then on-roads.

....considering 1098SF's are still commanding 17-20K AUD with like 30k on them

Less fairings but same money? Lol i dont get it. I'll pass.

I always thought those held their value due to not that many being brought here and assumed they werent going to make them again...

Just ordered mine... Added the AKR exhaust and the magnesium rims and a few custom things....Looking forward to ridding the .... outta this lady.

What did it set you back gorgeous?

It will be hella fun no doubt.

I paid the MSRP but they are doing a bunch of other things at cost and installing the exhaust at no charge. The rims are a 4k upcharge. I've never had any before and was planning on going with the Rapid Tek BST like I have on my Speciale but wanted to try something different. :D

Just ordered one a few days ago...

- Don't care about price
- Will go for the Akra slip ons - they're the best choice for the V4
- I have a V4 - that made the decision easy.....

Sorry if this is a dumb question but didn’t the Speciale come with magnesium rims originally? You don’t want to put those on the street fighter? Do they not fit?

No they were an option but I wanted to go with the BST rapid tec wheels instead.

Thank you for clarifying. Now that you say that I do recall they were an option and not standard.

I look forward to hearing your impressions as I might add one next year.
