New to the sportbike world. Spent most of my time on custom choppers, street glides, and softails. Are there any Ducati riders in the Ky region?

There are a few... not sure which part you're in, but I'm across the river of NKY

Finally a place i fit in. I'm near Shelbyville Lagrange area.

Right in the heart of all the twisties! Now and then I'll go down that way to meet up with Louisville Sportbike riders... But lately just pass through as I head down to NCM for TDs.

I'm waiting for another few weeks to get a 1299 to see what happened with this Ducati rep meeting see how that will impact the price of the new 16' in stock. I can't wait to learn how to ride this machine and start dragging that knee.

I'm in Louisville and ride quite a bit. Plus as mentioned above, member of Louisville Sportbikes, which there are rides almost every weekend.

NCM = Bowling Green, KY, TD = Track Days.

Putnam is just outside Indianapolis as well (10 turns, 8 rights, 2 lefts) and is being repaved in October for next season. I will say that if you are new to track days, hit something like Putnam with LOTS of run off and a simple track before NCM.

That's the truth... NCM's walls can be intimidating even for experienced riders... but damn, that track is fun!
