Thanks for the shots. Did you go to the race? Pretty interesting that they have moved back in that direction.

I don't like it. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved under seat pipes but this specific bike was not designed for it.
And, what happened to weight up high and all that ....? Would love to know why they had to go this route, obviously performance gain....

The team boss actually specifically stated one of the reasons why they went with this pipe is that it is stronger. They have had a lot of problems with pipes breaking, similar to members on the forum. Other reason was power curve.

I snapped top header pipe around 10,000mi. Took to dealer they fixed in 3 days no big deal, just replaced pipe, said its a "ducati thing" and sent me on my way hahaha

I totally agree with you, this bikes look doesn't go well with under the seat pipes, it hides the whole sexiness of the design of the .... And the way the pipes meet the ... from the back view looks like too big of a gap, like the pipes sit too low off of the under tail instead of that clean flush look

According to Jamie whitham the exhaust is effectively the same as the WSBK system. However it's been modified to run the cans as we have a 107db limit here against 115 or 117 limit (I can't remember) of WSBK.

As I rediculous side note I did a track day at snetterton the Friday before this one where the BSB boys are this weekend. My stock 675 with the official Arrow end can blew 105db! Trackday limit was 102db. Baffle took it to 98db. Something not right there.
