New V4R 2022 - And Can You Swap Swingarm Positions on Pre 22 Bikes

Ducati Forum

Excellent info although nothing was mentioned about the R.

Also you mentioned that the SA position has been lowered where as it’s been moved up iirc.

The V4R’s always been overpriced imo.

Something interesting about all this for me as a 916 Anniversario owner…almost all the changes that they made to to 2022 bike were what I got as part of the ‘package’ on my 2020 V4 25 Anniversario 916 ‘Foggy’ homolgation. Including the option to get the seat with the red back end section that came on my bike.

My bike came with all the ‘new’ stuff the 2022 bike has that was transplanted from the R to the V4S engined chassy. i.e. the cut out frame, the swingarm position of the R etc etc etc.

It’s like instead of putting out a new bike, they just re-released my bike with the same bespoke seat, but a different livery and the newer winged fairing…..for $15k less than my bike lol

Ducati has a way of sneaking in a lot of little changes. The most interesting part to me about the new bike is the vents on the lower fairing and the tank.

The dash on 44-Teeth's video review was almost constantly lit up green. I don't know what that's an indicator of but it was a little annoying.

Errr wrong. Lots of changes on the 2022 vs the Foggy. Most of them you can't see.
