I am wondering what you guys consider to be the working life of one of these motors and boxes?
I personally have never bought a second hand bike with more than 10000km on it before; however I have noticed a local bike with 57000km on it up for sale!!!
Im wondering if it is a ticking time bomb, and whether these motors have proven to go well past that?

.... And you should not have any troubles ( 57000 Kms is near a big check that has to be done to the engine every 30000 Kms) .... I've seen a gen 1 diavel with 95000 on it and with zero engine problems ... Only one owner and all done according to Ducati maintenance schedule
