Hello. I'm a new member from Oregon. I purchased my 2012 S in July. I didn't even know I needed one, but my "friends" at Moto Corsa let me test an R. I was hooked.

I'm not a forum expert. I posted a want to buy yesterday, and today it's marked "moved". I don't know what that means. Did I screw up?

Thanks for all the great info here. I'm learning a lot.

Hey man.... No you didn't screw up at all...In an attempt to keep everything orderly and findable I put your post into its correct forum..that's all..no one screws up..I am just trying to help...and welcome once again :)

Sounds good. Where did you move it to? I saw other WTB ads in the classifieds. What was unique about mine?

Welcome, you're not alone... Don't sweat it. I visited Moto Corsa this summer and they seemed like a good group, congratulations on your bike. So, after the demo ride on the R, are you happy with your S? That's what I have, just curious...

Nothing... Except that its recent... I am only moving newer ads...

First of all Moto Corsa is the greatest shop I've ever been to. They aren't perfect, but it's just an awesome place to hangout. The only problem is hanging out there is rather expensive :).

The R was awesome. The main thing I noticed is the quicker acceleration. Blipping the throttle resulted in an instant response from the engine. All you have to do is "think" about the throttle and it responds.

The R I rode had the stock exhaust. After I changed the gearing on my S, it felt a lot closer to the R.

They are both great bikes.

Congrat's on your new ride and enjoy her be4 the winter sets in bro. Welcome to the Brotherhood of Ducati also. Nice ride you got there also.

KoryM (my name is Kory as well),
Have you changed the rear sprocket yet on your S? The R has the 41T stock where as the S has the 39. This is one of the biggest mods you will find on this forum and everyone agrees it is great. I have not done it yet myself but thats because I only ride the track.

Unless your track is Daytona, that's where you'll see the most benefit, imo. Especially on a pretty tight/technical track.
