Hello,

I saw an ad on Monday night for exdemo Panigale 2013 red with terminogi titanium exhaust, race ecu and air filter also 41 tooth sprocket and new chain. I rang the dealer Tuesday secured it. Wednesday persuaded my friend Mark (multistrada.net) to accomany me and drive my car back. We arrived at the dealers at 4pm and left at 5pm. It was dusk, I hit bit of rain and wind but did I have a blast and that was on the M6 from Carlisle to West Midlands! Did have issues though in line can errors, engine management light came on, hazard warning flashing etc saw post on here re: water penetrating , bbs came on too. Dropped Mark back in Cheshire got home 1am!
Thurdsay the sun shone out I went met a friend at Ducati Aylsbury bike playing up again rather like a Christmas tree all flashing quite pretty but not what I want! Mechanics at Aylsbury cleared faults but half an hour later same issues :( so he will be going to Nelly at Cornerspeed asap. But, 400 miles in first 24 hrs of ownership was pretty amazing I kept making silly laughing sounds even when walking around the show rom at Aylesbury .....I have waited patiently to get a hold of a panigale, i even bought a tee shirt and personal plate over a year ago knowing that one day my dream would come true :D
Looking forward to riding the bike and using your lovely forum :)
oh I have a lovely multistrada 1200 I adore him I have put 21800 miles on the clock, this is my 3rd multistrada, had the 1100 and the 1000 all great, i did 32,500 miles on the 1100 in 20 months!

Welcome! I hope you're troubles are remedied quickly and were simply due to the rain.

Congratulations and welcome! Sucks your first ride went the way it did... Are you sure you didn't buy your bike from Mark419NY? Just kidding. I had the same issue except my bike would just die, electronics and everything with the same error. It's not a specific error code though. The BBS unit is under the rider seat. Unplug the rear connector and dry it out with a hair dryer or heat gun then plug it back in. Try to seal it with some soft epoxy or something. That did the trick for me.

Welcome Carole,
She's been wanting an 1199 for a long time, met her over on the mts forum. She's super enthusiastic about ducs in general.

I suggested she might like to join this forum as being a good source of info.

Too much text. Hello anyway. Not first wimmin around here...

the thing about Carole, and you can see in this video, she really hides her emotions, it's hard to tell how she feels about ducs :D

She's also a fellow nurse which makes her great people!

Welcome! I'm assuming this is you?

There are very few experiences like picking up a brand new bike. Your excitement seems to exemplify the type of giddiness this bike incites in all of us. Congrats on the beautiful Panigale!

Welcome to the weird and wacky world of 1199.com. I too, am a Nurse, and super enthusiastic re Ducati!!!!!!
