Dude is laying down the hammer on Mugello... On a GMT94 Yamaha R1

One of the best channels on YouTube. This guy ....... rips.

For reference, Iannone has the lap record on a MotoGP bike at 1:46.489.

He's lapping 4 seconds off MotoGP on an R1. Very impressive.
 
It's quite humbling when you think your really "goin to town" on your favorite track, and a hot shoe goes blowing by you like your going backwards.
 
Smooth aren't the words that comes to mind, but you can't say he's not fast.
 
Dood is beast...he did the lap record at Jennings GP during pre-season testing on an EBR (circa 2014)

His older vids onboard both stk & sbk spec panigales are a good watch too

Holy .....!!! Big respect to Canepa for doing some ripping on the EBR. I forgot about his stint with them. Too bad they couldn't keep it afloat. You see a dude like Jake Gagne in wsbk and not ready to run with those dudes should be running in world supersport. Then you see a dude like Canepa get bounced around but finally finds a nice home with GMT94. Its all about timing, a little luck, politics, and big balls...

Yea I was there during that time we happened to have booked the track for a couple of days and they asked to share it.

He passed me at some terrifying speeds.

The were nice guys I got a couple of take offs from them.
