lightech rear sets installed

Straight forward install although the shifter side is a bit tight with the QS rod.
Rear break side was a quick mount but still trying to figure out what to do with the break switch. Bike does not see much road use, so not that concerned but the light on the dash may start to bug me.
The switch that comes with the rear sets looks as though it needs to be spliced into the existing brake switch.
Very solid look and feel with smooth action and virtually no play in any of the pivot points.

I have not tested yet but I think with the GP set up on these rear sets i will not need the "race" QS rod....anyone have any experience with the Lightech GP set up using the OEM QS rod?

Bike looks great mate, subtle mods but very nice. Sorry, I can't help with the tech, mine is only road use at this stage, which is probably why my tyres don't look much like yours, they are getting a workout.

Cheers

Reverse shift runs with the standard rod, no need for the other DP rod. I fitted the lightech about 6 weeks ago.

GP shift

Thanks Ruley,
Thought so, just wanted to be sure before I went out banging gears.
How did you rig up the break switch?
Was is difficult?

I cut the loom of the std switch about 8 inches up, soldered wires and heat shrink over top, bigger heat shrink over both wires to seal and tidy up. easy peasy
