Hey guys,
I have a 2018 V4 base model. I have 10k miles on it and bike has been running great. I use this as my daily and i had something weird occur. This morning bike had no power, i turn key and nothing, nothing to the dash. I recharged battery, checked fuses and everything is good. I had no choice but to tow it to dealer. Only electronic upgrades i have done are a bren tune, monzatech external cooling system, and a cordona quick shifter. All these mods got done about 7k miles ago. My warranty expires end of August so hopefully whatever is wrong is covered. Have you guys ever had this happen? I mean, i was riding bike all week and literally next morning this happened? Thoughts??

Im just hoping dealer doesnt give me crap and warranty not cover whatever is wrong.

Li batteries tend to fail with little to no warning. Did you try swapping or jumping the battery?

The battery is only a few months old and its an anti gravity and yes, i tried swapping, jumping and recharging with no success

Don’t the keys on these tie into the immobilizer? Perhaps something broke between key and the black box system.
Assuming you don’t hear the fuel pump prime up either?

Im not certain if the key is ties to the immobilizer. No to hearing the fuel pump or anything for that matter. I turn key and absolutley nothing happens.

I did not remove battery to charge and main fuses were good, i even swapped them out to be sure.

I talked to the dealer. Apperently they found a burnt wire in the ingntion switch relay. They are contacting Ducati to see if warranty will cover and if main harness could have been affected/need replacement. Only way that it could not be covered is if monzatech cooling system i installed awhile back was the cause. But this part was installed Jan 2020. Not sure what else could cause this wire to burn out, i doubt the antigravity battery i installed could cause this?

Hi,
I'm having a similar issue and just got my bike in for service. Did they honor the warranty? How did they fix the issue?
Thanks.
