Hey guys new to the forum and new to the world of Ducati’s. I have inherited a Ducati monster 620 ie dark 2002
I was having a spark issue. One day the bike ran fine then the next day no spark at any plug. I pulled apart every electrical plug and cleaned and plugged them back in. All fuses are fine, dash lights up and does it’s thing. Pump primed and everything else seemed fine. Tried to start it. Kicks over but no spark so obviously didn’t fire up. I purchased a genuine Ducati regulator today put it in tried to start it and now I only get the dash board doing it’s thing. I can’t hear the pump prime but I do hear the relays click in.
My knowledge on these things isn’t exactly extensive so any guidance will be much appreciated. This bikes been a headache for a while.
I got it started today for about 5 mins then it died when I turned the choke of. Now it’s doing the same thing everything turns on but no pump prime or spark.
I also bypassed the kick stand sensor
