My girlfirend and I just came back from some track days in Almeria/Spain.
She rode her pimped Monster 1200S and had to stop after 2 days because the MotoCorse exhaust system touched the track in every freaking right corner. So I decided to build her a proper track bike. In Switzerland it seems that you get the most when buying a 959. Low price, nobody want's it because of the EU exhaust design.

My question is, does anybody know what's required to put 1199 Cans under the 959. Phl, I guess you are the master for such stupid questions :)

you can throw the complete set of headers on them (899 / 1199 - that will make the cans fit)

what should also work is to put an "old" 959/1299 system on there...

I put the the full Akra Ti thinggy on my Tricolore. That sounds like I could use all those parts removed from that bike (including the Termignoni cans) as a replacement? Would be great. I guess the only thing that wouldn't fit is the fairings of the 959?

that would work with the Termi.

all you need to make the fairings fit is the 1199 front fairing/dash holder...

Not so well :(
But many thanks for asking. Dealers are crazy, even during the coldest winter here since 30 years, all shops are deserted, no customers in sight! They want way too much for a used 959, but I think time is against them :)
