Anyone got a picture of oberon clutch slave installed, have the option of black or red as that all the aus distributed has would like titanium finish.

Want to know what they look like before purchase, from a slight distance if possible.

I have the black one installed. You really can't even tell it's there unless you were looking for it. I just went through my pics and none of them really show it.

Wish I would have went with black. Kicking myself for choosing gold. What was I thinking.

Ha! I just installed the gold one today. I think it looks good, but you can't really see it all that well anyway. I'll post pics of it tomorrow.

To anyone about to install one, do yourself a favor and buy a new o-ring for the anti-rotation insert. You're instructed to remove the insert and o-ring from the stock unit and install it into the Oberon slave. My o-ring was so worn out/stretched that it basically just fell off the insert.

Part number for the o-ring is 88650541B.

How does the Oberon compare to stock? Did they change the diameter of the piston like on the older bikes to lessen the lever travel and arm pump? Or is it built to the same size as stock but just with nicer materials?

All I know is that my clutch would go away just sitting in the garage. I'm talking lever to bar...nothing. Lots of guys have the same issue, get it replaced with another stock unit, then have the same problem a few miles later.

All of my clutch issues went away once I installed the Oberon.

I assume you tried eBay... I see plenty on offer there in all colors at around 100 USD. What's wrong with them?

This is from Aus distributer he only has red now and his the only one selling them in aus. His trying to offload them for cost price $100aud

Did you not have issue fitting Oberon slave and T-Rex slider?

I was pretty sure it didnt fit so I took off the T-Rex...

No issues at all. Here's a closer shot.
The picture makes it look tighter than it actually is. Nothing is physically touching the T-Rex slider.
I actually didn't realize how tight of a fit it was until I took this picture!

Thank you for the pic. so only thing you had to alter was the Nipple.

Have you tried Bleeding it yet? looks very tight. :D

Just the dust cover for the stock nipple.

I haven't bled it yet. I ordered some stahlbus bleeders for the master cylinders and front calipers. Waiting for those to come in beforeI do the bleed.

I'll report back here once it's done to let you know how it goes.
