Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help. I bought the ohlins steering damper SD040 and am looking for the dimensions of this spacer.. I have the ohlins partnumber but its backordered. Hopefully I can buy this aluminum spacer from any hardware store..

Here is the pic of the spacer I'm looking for.

The spacers used on the OEM Ohlins dampener use a top and a bottom with an o ring sandwiched in between them. I posted what they look like a few days ago on "Another Ducati lesson learned" thread. It looks like you could use the ones you had if you could turn the length of the shaft down so when they are placed in the dampener body they meet in the middle. It that a plastic washer in the picture?Ohlins dampener.PNG

This is what it looks like on the Panigale R anyway. The length would be determined by the thickness of the Heim joint. You could probably get away with just using one of those on the bottom with just a washer in between the bolt and the top of the dampener as it looks like it would fit all the way through the body of it. .

I was looking for the spacer which doesnt have the flat washer head.. it actually goes right under #34 on the diagram. It's strange cause the oem dampers do not have this part only the sd040 does.

Oh then I would probably have to use the stock screw as well. The one ohlins sent was too long and hence the need for that washer..

I read the manual for sd040 and it doesnt mention aftermarket or stock clipons..
