Ok, question about the Ohlins steering damper for the base model. It comes with a spacer that sits between the push rod bearing and the clipons. Is there any purpose for this spacer?? Using it causes my damper to sit cockeye. It works fine but just annoys me so I removed it and it’s perfect. Anyone else notice this?

I should also note that removing the spacer doesn’t reduce its range of motion or anything. Seems no different than with the spacer

Here’s the parts layout item 02238

The OE Ohlins on my S doesn't have a spacer. Should be good. Just installed a manual damper. Seems like a spacer would make it bind up a little.
